A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has predicted that the 2027 presidential election will be an easy win for President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Shinkafi spoke on Saturday after the appointment of Senator Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari as the Chairman of the 2027 Tinubu/Shettima Re-election Campaign Council.

According to him, going by the calibre of persons appointed into the campaign council, it will be an easy victory for Tinubu in 2027.

The former governorship aspirant called on members of the party to rally support for the campaign council to ensure that Tinubu and Shettima return to the Presidential Villa come 2027.

“It would therefore be an easy job for him[Yari] to render effective leadership to the campaign council in securing a renewed mandate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima,” Shinkafi said in a statement in reaction to the appointment.

“I call upon all APC members, stakeholders, and indeed all well-meaning Nigerians who believe in sustainable democracy, progress and development to extend their maximum cooperation and support to the Campaign Council under Senator Yari.

“With Senator Abdul’Aziz Abubakar Yari leading the charge as Director-General, we have no doubt that this Campaign Council will be disciplined, laser-focused, and will deliver a historic victory to the Tinubu/Shettima ticket and the APC
