As Muslims across Nigeria and around the world commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has extended his warmest felicitations to the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians.

In a message issued on Sunday, he said: “Eid-ul-Mawlid reminds us of the timeless virtues exemplified by the Prophet. At this challenging moment in our national journey, these values offer us a pathway to healing, unity, and renewed hope.

I urge Nigerians to see our diversity not as a weakness, but as a source of strength. As we approach another electoral season, we must reject division, intolerance, and violence. No political contest should destroy the bonds of brotherhood and national unity that bind us together.

I call on the Muslim Ummah to use this blessed occasion to pray for lasting peace, security, prosperity, and wisdom for our leaders. Despite our challenges, Nigeria remains a nation of immense talent, resilience, and promise.

May the Almighty Allah accept our prayers, bless our families and communities, protect Nigeria, and guide our leaders with wisdom and courage.”

The statement further wished the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually rewarding Eid-ul-Mawlid.
