2027: Mary Idele Vows Grassroots Mobilisation Of Women For Tinubu

The newly appointed Secretary of the Women Mobilisation Directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Dr Mary Idele, has promised to lead a nationwide grassroots mobilisation of Nigerian women in support of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.

Idele, who is also the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made the commitment on Sunday in Abuja while expressing appreciation to Tinubu for the confidence reposed in her through the appointment.

She said, “I am committed to working with our women across the country to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, deepen engagement and ensure that the women’s wing of the campaign council delivers effectively on its mandate.”

Idele further pledged to support the progressive cause and work toward ensuring President Tinubu secures a decisive victory in the 2027 presidential election.

She said the primary responsibility of the Women Mobilisation Directorate was to galvanise Nigerian women and coordinate their efforts toward achieving the objectives of the campaign council.
