As muslims across Nigeria and around the world commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW, the national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) , Prof. Natenwaye Goshwe Yilwatda has felicitated with the Muslims Ummah even as he charged them to follow teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW

In a press statement personally signed by the chairman and made available to newsmen by his Special Assistant on Media Publicity, Comrade Yusuf Dingyadi, said the Mawlid reminded them the timeless virtues exemplified by the Prophet especcially at this challenging moment in the journey to nationhood.

The APC chairman noted that doing so will offer a pathway to healing, unity and renewed hope.

Yilwatda urged Nigerians to see the diversity not as a weakness, but as a source of strength.

“As we approach another electoral season, we must reject division, intolerance and violence,

“No political contest should destroy the bonds of brotherhood and national unity that bind us together,” the chairman stated

He called on all Muslim Ummah to use this blessed occasion to pray for lasting peace, security, prosperity and wisdom for our leaders.

“Despite our challenges, Nigeria remains a nation of immense talent, resilience and promise.

“May Almighty Allah accept our prayers, bless our families and communities, protect Nigeria and guide our leaders with wisdom and courage.

“I wish the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians a peaceful, joyful and spiritually rewarding Eid-ul-Mawlid,” the chairman stated
