The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports suggesting that the party has withdrawn its list of members nominated to serve on the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the reports as rumours, urging party members, supporters and the public to disregard the speculation.

Morka made the clarification on Tuesday morning while responding to reports circulating that the APC had withdrawn the campaign council list shortly after it was released.

According to him, there has been no official decision to withdraw the list, stressing that any development regarding the composition of the council would be communicated through the appropriate party channels.

“Those are rumours. If there are any changes, we will announce them formally,” Morka said.

The clarification comes amid growing political activities within the ruling party ahead of the 2027 general elections, with various reports and speculations emerging over the structure and membership of the party’s presidential campaign machinery.

The APC’s decision to publicly address the report underscores the sensitivity surrounding the composition of its 2027 campaign organisation as preparations for the next general elections gather momentum.

He reiterated that where any adjustment is made to the list, the party would communicate such changes officially rather than through speculation or unverified reports.
