Guinness Nigeria and social media users have congratulated Mrs Bola Adesola on her recent conferment with an Honorary Doctorate (Honoris Causa) in Business (Corporate Finance and Governance) by Lagos State University.

Bola Adesola is an accountant with over 33 years of experience in the banking sector. She is the Senior Vice-Chairman at Standard Chartered Bank Group. She is also a gender equality and financial inclusion advocate.

She is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and Lagos Business School, where she is the immediate past president of the alumni association.

She holds a law degree from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom and is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK and Nigeria.
