Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, and Nollywood actor Charles Okocha exchanged heated words during a tense face-off ahead of their celebrity boxing rematch.

The highly anticipated bout, tagged “Chaos in the Ring,” is scheduled to take place on July 31 in Lagos.

Videos shared online by the event organizers, Balmoral Promotions, and reposted by Okocha on his verified Instagram page captured the two celebrities confronting each other on stage before security personnel stepped in to calm the situation.

In the clips, Portable and Okocha traded insults, rose from their seats and threw mock punches while appearing alongside a moderator to discuss their readiness for the much-anticipated rematch.

The encounter follows Portable’s unanimous decision victory over Okocha in their first fight earlier this year, prompting the actor to activate a rematch clause.

During the exchange, Portable repeatedly expressed confidence in securing another victory.

“I’m the man… I don prepare, I go win again, I go fight again. I go beat Charles Okocha,” he said.

Okocha, however, urged the singer to save his energy for fight night. “So what are you talking about? Can you save that for the ring? Can you save that on the 31st? Don’t disrespect me! I’m not your mate. Don’t disrespect me,” Okocha said.

Reacting to the face-off, Balmoral Promotions wrote: “Zazzu no wan calm down oooo. You just know Fight Night will be hotter!”

The confrontation has generated widespread reactions on social media.

Actor Timini Egbuson commented, “The winner of this fight too sure.”

Media personality Do2dtun wrote, “Boxing na composure. No be by mouth. Let the best man win.”

Music executive Don Wily also backed Okocha, saying: “Team Charles Okocha… Sure odd.”

According to the organizers, the bout will be streamed live, while tickets are already on sale for fans who wish to attend physically.

The celebrity showdown has continued to stir excitement online, with supporters of both contenders expressing confidence ahead of fight night.
