Chelsea are reportedly prepared to sanction the sale of striker Liam Delap this summer, with Everton, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United all monitoring the England forward as the Blues reshape their attacking options ahead of the new Premier League season.

According to The i Paper, Chelsea would be willing to part ways with the 23-year-old if they receive an offer in the region of £35 million to £40 million, barely a year after signing him from Ipswich Town F.C. in a deal worth approximately £30 million.

The report suggests there is no shortage of interest in Delap, with Everton F.C., Nottingham Forest F.C. and Leeds United F.C. all keen to secure the striker’s services as they strengthen their squads for the upcoming campaign.

Difficult Debut Season at Stamford Bridge

Delap arrived at Stamford Bridge with high expectations following his impressive performances at Ipswich Town, but he endured a challenging first season in west London.

The England Under-21 international struggled to establish himself as Chelsea’s first-choice striker, scoring just two goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.

His limited impact has fuelled speculation that the striker could seek a move elsewhere in search of regular first-team football.
