While speaking on the Vibes Podcast, the artist explained that his decision is as a result of the challenges he faced while building his music career. He noted that although he would not stop them from pursuing their dreams, he hopes they choose a different path.
“I don’t want any of my children doing music because I don’t want them to go through what I went through. Obviously, anything, because eventually my parents and my family allowed me chase my dream. I would never want to block any of them from chasing their dream. And especially if they’re good, why not?. I’m first generation musician in my family. I’m first person that tried to go against the green in the whole generation of Adeleke,” Davido stated.
