The Bridge and You Podcast (TBAY) is building a growing community around the experiences of immigrants, particularly Nigerians and other Africans, building new lives in the United Kingdom.

Launched in March 2026, the UK-based podcast has released 10 episodes featuring community leaders, entrepreneurs, students, professionals and creatives who share their experiences of leaving home and adapting to life abroad.

The podcast focuses on the human side of immigration, allowing guests to discuss identity, culture, ambition, relationships and the challenges of building a career and life in an unfamiliar environment.

Rather than focusing solely on the achievements of its guests, TBAY explores the journeys behind those accomplishments, offering audiences a closer look at the experiences that shape immigrants’ lives.

According to the podcast, viewers have responded positively to the conversations, with some saying particular episodes encouraged them to continue pursuing their goals, while others said the stories helped them better understand what relatives living abroad may be experiencing.

Some guests have also described their appearances as opportunities to discuss personal experiences they had previously kept private.

The response aligns with TBAY’s broader objective of creating a platform where immigrants can feel seen, heard and connected.

Emmanuel Damilare Adegbite, the podcast’s host and founder, leads the platform with a team responsible for production, research, community engagement and creative direction.

The team has also expanded the podcast’s focus beyond personal immigration stories to issues affecting its audience and Nigeria.

One of its recent projects was a special national address focused on insecurity in Nigeria, reflecting the platform’s continued engagement with issues connected to its audience and country of origin.

TBAY distributes its content across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, allowing its conversations to reach audiences beyond the traditional podcast format.

The podcast has also featured guests connected to prominent figures in African entertainment, broadening the range of voices and experiences presented on the platform.

Creative partnership with 1204Studios has further supported the podcast’s visual identity and production consistency across its digital platforms.

Beyond producing interviews, TBAY aims to build a community where immigrants can connect, collaborate and support one another as they navigate life away from home.

The platform’s next phase will see it expand its interviews beyond Scotland into England, with plans to feature more prominent Nigerian and African voices across the UK.

TBAY is also developing a street interview series that will take its conversations into communities and explore questions around culture, identity and everyday life in Britain. The planned series will include cash prizes for participants who answer questions correctly.

The move is expected to help the podcast engage audiences outside the traditional studio setting while introducing its content to new communities.
