KolaDaisi University (KDU), Ibadan, has announced that it will maintain current tuition fees for the 2026/2027 academic session, citing a commitment to making quality university education affordable amid prevailing economic challenges.

The decision was approved by the university’s Governing Council. It means all returning students will continue to pay the existing rates throughout the 2026/2027 academic session.

In a statement by its registrar, Mr Haruna Olawale Adetu, the university said the move aligns with its policy of reviewing tuition for returning students only once every two academic sessions.

The statement said the policy is designed to provide stability, predictability and financial relief for parents, guardians and students.

“Sustaining the existing tuition fees reflects our unwavering commitment to supporting families while ensuring uninterrupted access to quality education,” the statement said. “It underscores KDU’s philosophy of placing students and their families at the centre of our policies and operations.”

The registrar urged parents and students to take advantage of the university’s flexible payment options available on its online portal to meet financial obligations with ease.

He assured stakeholders that the institution would continue to uphold high standards in teaching, learning, research and character development without compromising academic quality.

Adetu reiterated that KolaDaisi University remains committed to producing graduates with sound knowledge, practical skills and strong moral values, while fostering an academic environment that nurtures innovation, excellence and responsible leadership.

The management reaffirmed its resolve to implement policies that promote academic excellence, student welfare and institutional sustainability, and expressed appreciation to parents, guardians and students for their continued support.
