A dispatch rider has reportedly lost his life after two trucks collided while vying for the right of way at Ijesha, inward Mile 2, Lagos.

Reacting swiftly to the tragic incident, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the Eagle Response Team said a FAW truck with registration number T-30364LA, an Iveco truck with registration number 958 XV, and the dispatch rider were involved.

Saturday Telegraph reports that the preliminary investigations indicated reckless driving and improper road use by both truck drivers caused the crash.

The FAW truck reportedly hit the Iveco truck, which was struggling for right of way, causing it to rear-end the dispatch rider, which led to the death of the rider at the scene.
