The clubs that will compete in the league stage of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League have been confirmed, with several of Europe’s biggest teams among those set to feature.

Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain are included in the line-up, alongside European heavyweights such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona.

The English contingent also includes Manchester United and Aston Villa, while Spain will be represented by Atlético Madrid, Real Betis and Villarreal.

Germany has Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Stuttgart in the league stage, while Italy’s representatives include Inter Milan, AS Roma, Napoli and Como.

Portugal will have Sporting CP and Porto, while the Netherlands will be represented by PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord.

Other notable clubs in the line-up include French sides Lille and RC Lens, Turkish giants Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, Belgian champions Club Brugge, Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk and Norwegian club Bodø/Glimt.

The league stage will also feature Slavia Praha of the Czech Republic, Slovan Bratislava of Slovakia, AEK Athens of Greece, LASK of Austria, Viking of Norway and Azerbaijan’s Sabah.

The 36-team league phase will see each club play eight matches against eight different opponents, with four games at home and four away.

The teams will be ranked in a single league table, with the top eight qualifying directly for the round of 16. Clubs finishing from ninth to 24th will enter a knockout play-off, while teams placed 25th to 36th will be eliminated from European competition.
