Foundation offers education, medical support for community

The Joseph Ogogo Foundation, has provided free healthcare services, essential relief materials and support to hundreds of residents in the Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State, as part of its humanitarian intervention outreach.

The outreach, which drew beneficiaries and community members, was part of the Foundation’s commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable people through interventions in education, healthcare and community development.

Founder of the foundation, Dr Austin Ogogo Jnr, said on Tuesday that the initiative was aimed at restoring dignity, improving well-being and creating opportunities for children and families in underserved areas.

He said, “We are still overwhelmed by the incredible warmth and reception we have received. Bringing essential support, as well as healthcare and hope to the resilient people of Obanliku is deeply moving experience for our entire team.”

He noted that despite the logistical challenges of reaching remote communities, the foundation remained committed to its flagship advocacy, ‘Every Child Deserves an Education’, which links quality education to good health and family welfare.

“Every life matters and every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and fulfil his or her potential. We are committed to our continued advocacy on every child deserves quality education in good health and family welfare”, Ogogo stated.

Ogogo noted that the organisation would deepen investments in education, healthcare and community development across Cross River State and beyond, stressing that the campaign, ‘Every Child Deserves an Education’, is a long-term commitment and not just a slogan.

“It is a long term commitment for the progress of our people “, he added.
