President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the death of His Most Eminence, Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, the Supreme Head (Olori) of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, and Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church.

Tinubu described the death of the prominent cleric as a profound loss, joining millions of Christians in Nigeria and across the world in mourning his passing.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Prophet Alogbo as a distinguished man of God whose life was characterised by humility, steadfast faith and commitment to the spiritual well-being of the faithful and the nation.

According to the statement, Prophet Alogbo demonstrated exemplary leadership during his tenure as the head of the Cherubim and Seraphim movement, particularly through his efforts to promote peace, unity and reconciliation within the church.

The President noted that the late cleric earned the respect of Christians and members of other faiths through his commitment to fostering harmony and peaceful coexistence.

Tinubu also acknowledged Prophet Alogbo’s contributions to strengthening Christian fellowship and promoting unity across religious and community divides, saying his legacy would continue to inspire future generations.

The President extended his condolences to the Alogbo family, the leadership and members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, as well as all those mourning the death of the cleric.

He urged them to draw comfort from the enduring values and principles upon which the movement was founded and from the legacy left behind by Prophet Alogbo.

President Tinubu prayed that God would grant eternal rest to the soul of His faithful servant, His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo.
