Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji has expressed gratitude for the gift of fatherhood, describing being called “Father” as a privilege and a deeply emotional experience.

The actor shared his reflections in a social media post while celebrating the joy and responsibility that comes with becoming a father.

According to Lateef, fatherhood means more than simply carrying the title, describing it as a responsibility, a privilege, an answered prayer and a form of love that transforms a person.

“There is a sweetness in being called ‘Father’ that words can hardly explain,” the actor wrote.

Lateef said he looked back on his life with gratitude, noting that his journey to fatherhood involved periods of waiting, silent prayers and moments when he wondered when his own testimony would come.

“I look at my life today and I can only say Alhamdulillah. For every waiting season, every silent prayer, every moment I wondered when my own testimony would come, Allah had already written something far more beautiful,” he said.

The actor added that he now carries the title of father with gratitude and humility, while praying for the opportunity to guide and protect his children.

“May I live long enough to guide you, protect you, teach you, and become the kind of father you will always be proud to call Dad,” Lateef added.
