The people of Ifelodun Community in Agunbelewo, Osogbo, Osun State, have congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election, describing his victory as a demonstration of the confidence and trust reposed in him by the people of the state.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by the chairman of Ifelodun Community in Agunbelewo, Osogbo, Pastor Abimbola Okeyinka, and the secretary of the community, Mr Maruf Usamotu, and made available to journalists by the Public Officer of the community, Dr Atoyebi Olumuyiwa.

The community noted with pride that Governor Adeleke secured victory in all the polling units within Ifelodun Community, saying the result reflected the community’s appreciation of his administration and its commitment to the welfare and development of the people.

The community also expressed its profound appreciation to Yeye Dupe Adeleke, the governor’s sister, for her generous donation towards the purchase of accessories needed for the community’s transformer.

The gesture, according to the community leaders, demonstrated her concern for the development and well-being of the people.

On the other hand, they appealed to the governor to reciprocate the community’s support by urgently addressing some of the community’s infrastructural challenges, including tarring and rehabilitation of the major road in the community and also complementing the project with installation of solar-powered streetlights.

They said the project would enhance transportation, improve security, stimulate economic activities, and contribute significantly to the overall development of the community.

The community assured Governor Adeleke of its continued support and cooperation, while expressing confidence that his administration would give favourable consideration to their requests.
